I have kept track of my fuel usage for sometime and now have created a new spreadsheet for the data. My previous post claimed I was getting 31.34 MPG on average and I average about the same for 2007. Below are the charts and a graph with my MPG vs Time (over the year).
I fixed the broken LCD!
I was given a broken LCD that had some issues with turning on and make a cricket(chirp) sound. After inspecting the insides, I found the problem was a broken power supply. The cricket sound is caused by a capacitor not working correctly and that caused the transformer to make a chirp.
I was not sure which capacitor was not working but they were all poor quality capacitors and I did not want to reopen the LCD later to fix it again, so I replaced all 7 of the capacitors. The capacitors are not expensive and it did not take very long to replace the broken ones. A few of the new capacitors are slightly bigger but the size did not cause any problems.

My “toe” shoes have been working great. I feel relieved when I put them on. I did some jogging in them and they held up well. I will attempt to run soon I hope, but I will be riding my bike more often now that I have gotten it from my house. I haven’t had it with me for a long time now, because of my last apartment’s size it was difficult to store inside. Having moved, I can now store it inside safely!
I have noticed a lot more bikers around Austin. The rising gas prices have pushed people to commute via pedals. I have been keeping track of my gas usage for a long time now. Since my last post on miles per gallon, I haven’t made an update yet, but I plan to soon!

As I look back, I see that life was much simpler just a few years ago.
Your “food” is discusting. Today my sandwich had 5lbs of mayo on it. This was my third try to enjoy their food and it was the worst. I did not know it was possible for anyone to mess up a sandwich and make it taste so bad.
How can the expect to compete with Potbelly or Subway. That was the last chance Jimmy.
Time to try to get this taste out of my mouth.
I have been using Firefox for my browser for a long time. Everyone should help get Firefox3 into the record books by downloading it the day it is released and telling friends to do the same!
Semester is over! One of the best semesters I’ve had so far. I look forward to my summer with an internship and great schedule of classes in the fall!

I was given a “disposable” digital camera a while ago and thought I should take it apart. I checked the internet and I found a lot of people “hacking” the camera so it isn’t disposable anymore and making the camera work with a computer to retrieve the images taken. I started to look into hacking the camera and then the semester started and I ran out of time.
Spring Break! Good time to relax the brain!

The trips from Austin to Dallas are fairly long and I like to listen to music. I have a CD player in my car but there are only so many times you can listen to the same music and only so many CDs I want to take the time to burn. I also got a Zune recently and wanted to use it in my car, sadly with no tape deck or audio in my options are limited.
